Sincere Flattery

So last night my one of my best friends and his brother decided to dress up like me and my brother for Halloween. I was flattered that i was a notable figure in their heads. I can't decided if its a good or a bad thing that its apparently obvious how to dress like me because i'm so crazy. But i choose to be distinguishable so i guess it works. Crazy socks, cool ties, and Italian oh it was perfect. To top if off Weston carried around a piano and was singing "Dance Dance" bragging about how it was is on I-tunes.

The saying goes imitation is the most sincere form of flattery so thanks Weston. So if anyone else every dresses up like me for Halloween (which is apparently quite easy) send me a pic so i can post it because it cracks me up. Have a safe Halloween weekend

Much love

All you need to know in order to navigate through missouri

I came across this picture that my friend jessica took. It tells you everything you need to know in order to navigate through the great state of missouri

Just remember folks springfield is the center of country, its whats happening (way cooler the stl, in order to head success you don't go stl).
***Fact if you throw a dart at the map of america springfield would be the most likely place you'll hit!

enjoy another day

Piano stairs

I wanted to share this with you because i really fascinated me. My friend lauren sent me this link so i thought i'd share it with you.

This apparently is an initiative by Volkswagen to increase fun (something tells me they have a lot of money)but as much as i dont' like supporting frivolous spending this act encourages stair taking which I personally am a huge fan of.

Here is the link

My only question is did somebody not have music background and try and least walk in thirds or something tonal? But if i'm ever in Sweden i'm hitting this up.

Oh and I am going to some picks tonight of the piano for everyone and post them. And be praying for the band we have a big audition Monday i'll let you know about it later.

enjoy your Sunday, i'm going to make a lesson plan before we practice.

New Toy

Hey so i know i don't blog often enough but i will make this a better habit. Especially after i graduate...oh so close now. But what i wanted to update all the fans on was the acquisition of my new toy! (pics soon to follow) For the past few years i have wanted to personalize my own piano and i finally have achieved it.

I have been scouring craigslist for a free piano (bwt i will always take donations) and i was let down. Usually craigslist if flooded with available piano but lately its been scarce but i finally found what i was looking for. A piano in moderate shape, lower end, that is small and light as possible. "This piano fits in my van" crazy. So i did pay for this one but i will say i got an incredible deal. For the past two days me and my friend Lauren have painted it. I cannot say how excited i was to get my paint on. I literally walked out of home depot in such a state of glee. Speaking of the depot (lowes is better, only shop at lowes unless you buy paint. Behr brand is the best at HD) the paint guy couldn't believe me and demands i have to bring in pictures hahhaha so hopefully they'll display it.

But yes, i decided on a lime green piano. I have to say this has only inspired me for more so hopefully i'll get to do this again and i'll let the fans vote on a color, have a fan piano. I am just really digging this personalize thing its way cool and i'm excited for everyone to see it. My plan is to use it as a practice piano and play it live as much as possible.

That is the news in the jackson camp for friday october 23. More to come soon hope you enjoy this. love ya
